      - nella Regione del Veneto per avere coscienza di esserci e per costituire un modello;
- promuovere uno statuto unico per un'unica associazione nazionale;
- rappresentare un'organizzazione di riferimento per cittadini che intendono esercitare la sovranità;
- lavorare, come alternativa al criticare, per conseguire il più efficiente servizio sanitario, perché insieme si può;
- valorizzare il disabile e l'anziano in generale, e non solo l'incontinente e lo stomizzato, perché le esperienze vanno acquisite, condivise e messe a frutto;
- raccogliere fondi senza i quali le idee non si realizzano;
- costituire una presenza online di volontariato.

Its goal is to provide a nonprofit association that will serve to unify and strengthen its member support groups, which are organized for the benefit of people who have, or will have intestinal or urinary diversions and their caregivers.

The Australian Council of Stoma Associations represents, at a national level, the interests of all 22 regional Stoma Associations in Australia. It provides liaison with the Australian Government and appliance suppliers, coordinates support services for ostomates throughout Australia and publishes the national journal "Ostomy Australia".
